Protecting Our Community Through Collective Action
On March 7th, 2023, WELA staff and students took on an essential mission—preparing Agege for the rainy season. Armed with cleaning tools and a strong commitment to community service, they embarked on a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project aimed at clearing debris from drainage channels.
This initiative was more than just a clean-up; it was a proactive measure to prevent flooding and protect the environment. At WELA, we understand that a safe and healthy environment is key to the well-being of our community. By addressing the risk of flooding, we demonstrated our commitment to going beyond legal aid and vocational training, actively contributing to community care.
